Area description
Carvoeiro is quite a commercialised town but you have to expect that anywhere on mainland Europe these days, especially if it's by the sea and anywhere near the Mediterranean (although the Algarve's shoreline is actually on the Atlantic).Carvoeiro is an excellent resort to use as a base for touring and exploring the region. You can travel by bus, which is the cheapest but the services aren't too reliable or frequent especially out of season. We chose to travel by taxi as the fares seemed very reasonable to us coming from London where prices can be extortionate. But probably the best method is to hire a car as it is very inexpensive and because of the competition, there's a lot of good deals to be had.
Property Description
Casa Alha has lovely views over rolling countryside towards Portimão to the west and the Monchique mountains to the north. Just a few kilometres west of Carvoeiro and close to a number of sandy coves and the wide sandy beach at Ferragudo, Casa Alha also enjoys a location close by the Vale Da Pinta and Gramacho golf courses. A neatly paved driveway leads to the villa and its pretty gardens. A small toddler's playground with swing, slide and climbing frame have been provided in the garden and a splendid swimming pool, surrounded by trimmed lawns, sits in front of the full width veranda with delightful views of the surrounding countryside. Inside, the villa has been tastefully furnished and decorated in a contemporary style. There is an open-plan lounge and dining area, furnished in warm colours, with large patio doors leading to the shaded veranda, pool and outdoor eating area. There is a well equipped kitchen and tiled floors throughout help keep the villa cool in the hot summer months. Upstairs is the master suite and bathroom, as well as a large terrace from which to enjoy the sunset.A modern villa close to shops, restaurants, beaches and golf.

Children’s bedroom with 2 separate beds.Outside the villa is a garden and spacious terraces, a BBQ area with table and chairs, sun beds and a large heatable pool. There is also a play area to keep the children entertained. For little children are there cots, a high chair, bikes and other toys for the pool etc. The outside shower can be used as pool for little children : 2 m² and a depth of 30 cm.
Casa Alha has magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and has all the facilities required for a happy, relaxed holiday.

The rentalprice is based on 6 people. When you book for more people the price rises with €. 100. per week per person. Pool heating: November - February: €195 p/w. March - April: €.150 p/w. May, September/October: €130 p/w. June - August: €100 p/w. During the winter months there will be a charge for heating the villa or the pool, per electric meter or gas consumption. Air conditioning €. 70 p/w. Maid service are included in rental price.
